The Fragrance Foundation Awards celebrate the global fragrance industry and its outstanding creative achievements in the world of perfumery.

The 2014 Awards were given out on June 16th at Alice Tully Hall, Lincoln Center. Dana Carvey hosted for the second year. Presenters and guests included actor Michael C. Hall, model Hilary Rhoda and actress Angie Harmon – plus Chrissy Teigen, Leonard Lauder, Mary Alice Stephenson, Behati Prinsloo, Lily Donaldson, Max Irons, Christian Siriano, Mario Sorrenti and Marisa Tomei.

Coty won both Women’s and Men’s Best Packaging in the Luxury category.
How were the winners chosen?

Industry experts were asked to choose the winners of the Indie Award, Perfume Extraordinaire, and Editorial Excellence in Fragrance Coverage.

Consumers voted online to determine the Consumer Choice winner.

The Fragrance Foundation’s Board of Directors selected the winners in these categories: Hall of Fame and Perfumer of the Year – Lifetime Achievement.

All other categories—the first six below—are chosen by The Fragrance Foundation’s member companies, which includes both manufacturers and suppliers. Members get a specific number of votes, determined by the company’s gross fragrance sales. The highest number of votes is 9, for over $500 million in gross fragrance sales. Consulting firms, designers and retailers each get 1 vote.
